FYI: If you are even considering the idea of entering the state of CA, namely the central valley anytime soon, DON'T!!! Unless you like 110 degree heat.

The kids and I did some running around this a.m. and had our hair cut but after 2:00 all I wanted to do was go home. The rest of our errands are going to wait until tomorrow a.m. It's so unbelievably hot and our air quality is horrible! It's no wonder people are so sluggish and not moving very fast.

Tonight I'm going to curl up with the movie I rented (In Good Company) and watch it with a BIG glass of ice water.
